Vi-Cal Metals is an international metal trading company, specializing in high temp alloys, aluminum, titanium, copper, brass, stainless steel, and various aerospace alloys.

Thirty years ago Paul Calta started purchasing scrap metal from various machine shops in Southern California using his own truck. With a growing clientele, Paul saw the need to expand his business, hiring his son Frank to aid in the advancement. In 1977, Vi-Cal Metals, Inc. was established.
The company was named in honor of Paul’s wife Viola Calta.

After many years of providing service to his customers,
Paul passed away, leaving his son Frank as President.
Throughout the 80’s and 90’s, Frank expanded the
company’s services to provide his customers with wholesale, brokerage, consulting, and hazardous waste management.

Today Vi-Cal Metals with industry affilates, Monico Alloys
and G. Harris International, imports and exports metal
all over the world, trading $250 million of metal a year.
